To ensure you can have peace of mind when asking us to carry out drainage works at your property, we are pleased to offer the following guarantees and warranties for the work:
1. Blockages
With of all of our drain, sink, toilet, manhole, bath, shower or gully unblocking services, be it commercial or domestic, we are pleased to provide our customers with a 28 day guarantee.
The exceptions
A. There is no guarantee for the blockage should defects in the pipework become evident during our visit, such as root ingress, cracked lines, dropped pipework, scaled pipes, bad installation etc. Where possible we will quote for any remedial works to repair these defects.
B. The guarantee will become void should we return to site and find wet wipes, nappies, sanitary products, food debris, fats, oils, grease or similar within the drainage system. This will be classed as misuse of the drain system. Any return visits in this case will become chargeable.
Has your drain reblocked?
To allow us to honour our guarantee, we must be contacted within the 28 day period whereby the above will be reiterated to you. We will organise a suitable time to reattend the property.Should we find misuse of the drainage system (see above), the engineer's visit will become chargeable at which point you can decide whether you want us to clear the blockage.
2. Resin Patch Repairs
Our resin patch repair is under warranty for 4 years from the installation date. Should any issues arise within this time period with the repair work, we will attend and rectify free of charge.
The exceptions
A. The warranty does not apply to any blockages that form within the pipework. This includes, but is not limited to, wet wipes, nappies, sanitary products, food debris, fats, oil and grease. The aforementioned will be chargeable to clear and in no way relates to the drainage repair.
B. The warranty only applies to the area of repair works and not the remaining line or associated connecting pipework. This include, but is not limited to, root ingress, cracked lines, dropped pipework, bad installation. Where possible we will provide a course of remedials works should any further defects be found in the system.
C. The warranty applies to the sole area of work. We do not offer indemnity insurance should an issue arise within the direct vicinity of the area of repair. We accept no liability for additional damage should it occur. Work will be carried out with all due care and attention, however Rexaus Group Ltd T/A Drain Detectives accept no liability indirect or consequential loss/damage to property/items or profit should it occur whilst carrying out the work as quoted.
D. The liability of Rexaus Group Ltd T/A Drain Detectives will not exceed the quotation price.
Issues with a resin patch repair?
To invoke the warranty, we must be contacted within the 4 year period whereby the above will be reiterated to you. We will organise a suitable time to reattend the property.
If we find any of the above within the line, the visit will become chargeable, at which point you can decide whether to proceed with the unblock/ further works.
Should we ascertain that further damage within the line has occurred, a quotation will be supplied to rectify with no obligation to proceed.
If an issue with the resin patch repair becomes evident with the guarantee period, we will attend the site, fully investigate and provide a solution to rectify any issues found.
The warranty we offer does not affect your statutory rights. All guarantees are fully transferable.
